Our Performance Base technologies for synthetic turf have been used successfully from professional and collegiate levels, down to Pee Wee leagues at the local park, and have proven to result in fields that are safer to play on, drain betfter, last longer, and reduce environmental impact.

Brock Powerbase: For elite sports fields

Athletic Fields - PowerbaseThe original panel underlayment designed specifically for artificial turf, PowerBase provides ideal shock absorption and field stiffness for elite athletes such as NCAA, Professional Soccer, and Pro Football. It can replace most of the traditional stone base and has a perfect track record for field drainage – it never fails. Plus the field is easier to construct and is less expensive in the long run. More . . .

Key Benefits to the PowerBase system:

  • Most proven system on the market.
  • It’s a safety, drainage and load spreading layer all in one.
  • Blends optimal field stiffness with maximum safety that results in a field that plays and feels like the best quality natural turf – for life.
  • Predictable, long term effective drainage
  • Interlocking panels are easy to install
  • Less excavation and site disturbance, faster to build your field.
  • G-Max guarantee of no higher than 120 G’s for the life of the turf, without making it “soft” to run on.
  • Lifetime recovery and re-use guarantee
  • A greener way to build - Cradle to Cradle Certified

PowerBase YSR: For Youth and recreation sports fields

PowerBase YSRA “younger brother” of PowerBase, it offers the same safety, drainage, cost  and environmental benefits as PowerBase, but is the only artificial turf safety underlayment engineered specifically for youth and recreational sports. It’s used primarily for High Schools, Middle Schools and parks projects. It’s made using the same state of the art material, and YSR can reduce your cross section by replacing stone as the base, just like PowerBase.  Carries 120 G-Max Guarantee, C2C Certified. More . . .

Key Benefits to the PowerBase YSR system:

  • Provides scaled shock absorption and playability for recreational and youth sports.
  • Field plays and feels like perfect natural turf.
  • Predictable, long term effective drainage
  • Interlocking panels are easy to install
  • Less excavation and site disturbance, faster to build your field.
  • G-Max guarantee of no higher than 120 G’s for the life of the turf, without making it “soft” to run on.

Brock SP14: Shock pad for artificial turf fields

Athletic Fields - SP14If a full shock AND drainage system is not desired, SP14 (stands for “Shock Pad, 14mm thick) is a cost effective, high performance energy absorbing pad for use on new or replacement fields with an existing, well-draining stone base. SP14 is most commonly used on fields where the old, hard turf is being replaced, and added safety is wanted on the next field. More . . .

Key Benefits to the SP14 shock Pad:

  • Panels are easy to install
  • Highly resilient for years of performance
  • Will lower G-max to that of Natural turf (80-120 G’s) without making the field soft
  • Vertical permeability of >50” per hour
  • Closed loop recyclable
