Brock Performance Base™ Research & Testing

Brock has spent many years and well over half a million dollars testing the Performance Base material, to make sure that our product delivers on our promises. Our testing is done by independent, third party labs and readily made available for all to see. Throughout the website you will see various test results listed as they pertain to safety, performance, drainage, material performance, environmental impact and more. We encourage you to read through these results. We think you will agree that Brock has done our homework and have engineered a state-of-the-art composite material that takes synthetic athletic field performance to the next level.

Brock Performance Base is designed to handle the worst that Mother Nature can dish-out. From blazing heat to frigid cold, the properties of Brock material remain virtually unaffected by climate changes and continues to promote drainage, impact absorption, and a higher standard of performance. Worried about complications from freeze-thaw or frost heave? It's a non-issue with Brock. In fact Brock material has thermal insulation characteristics that provide the same amount of insulation as 13" of stone or 20" of sand. This also allows for simplified athletic field base construction during those colds months of the year.
